Using a 4l60E behind a carbed 350(use to be a tbi engine)
I did this with a 93 Sonoma, which had the same transmission version as your 94. I had wired the purple wire to the distributor, then connected the TPS, the coolant sensor for the ecm and the VSS signal. All other wiring was left in place and extra sensors left unplugged.
