The Build of My $200 Dollar Truck

Hey dude. Your truck is looking great. One day I will spray mine the right way with the original dark blue color. I have a question. My brother just bought the identical same GMC truck like yours but in red. He did a 4/6 drop but with the front he did spindles and Springs. He will be using...

    Gen V 4.3 (LV3) in a 1993 Cheyenne

Dude, if you are talking crate motor, yes you will paying up the a** for them. If you are talking about LS1 aluminum block, yes you will pay up for them. If you talking about 6.0 same thing. But less desirable used 5.3 and 4.8 are everywhere. Local LKQ U pull It's have them. Or you can simply...

Yup, I believe that moral should be held up to all companies large or small. Take care of your employees, they take care of you, after all if it wasn't for them you can't make any money !! You are doing a great job. Sent from my R1 HD using Tapatalk

    Gen V 4.3 (LV3) in a 1993 Cheyenne

Take a look at your local junkyards or check www.car-parts.com. 99-02 4.8 & 5.3 were drive by cable, easier to swap with. 6.0 is the way to go but too $$ for them. You can also look for a crashed donor, which would be ideal. Miles really do not mean anything to these LS motors, so anything under...

    Gen V 4.3 (LV3) in a 1993 Cheyenne

My truck has sentimental value as well. It's a 1994 c1500 W/T plain jane single cab short bed with manual windows, no cruise, rubber floor and a bench. It went from a bad 4.3 V6 to a 5.3 LS motor. 4 years later, I still have it and drive it. 12k miles since the swap. Sorry but just trying to...

    W/T headlamps question

Spend the money and get better ones. I have those and they are not bright enough. 2 months with them on and the high beams stopped working. Get the more expensive ones or swap out to the silverado trim headlights and grill. Then get HIDs. Alot better Sent from my R1 HD using Tapatalk

The Build of My $200 Dollar Truck

Looks very clean, nice work. Just my $.02, I would not completing leave the rails smooth. They sell anchors that can be put in stock stake hole location that you press on it and they pop open, press again and they stay flush to the body. I use my truck on some weekends to go to Home Depot or...

Camaro rims on a lowered c1500?

Yes, dust cap is too large, I can't fit the center caps on the front on my Camaro SS wheels. Someone mentioned to me about looking at other newer year OBS truck dust caps that have a lower profile, I believe Sent from my R1 HD using Tapatalk
