traced wiring back found 3 wires not in correct pin swapped those back got all that right, now im throwing a code p3940 camshaft position problem, the cam crank position is -45 no matter what position its in nor hole, new cam crank sensor and pigtail any ideas?
All cylinders were woth 15 psi of each other plugs looked good number 3 was lil oily before the oil so time will tell definitely looking to build it differently this time
Here we are a 51 weeks later went to have 0411swap done, will not run without 30 degrees of timing been that way since I put it in the truck, bad news I gotta pull the engine and figure out what djit on me got oil coming out the exhaust on the drivers side and she sounds hurt only 2500 miles
Fuel pressure is 60 psi at wot, Trucks 3.42, with 285/70/17s, auto 4l60e, no brake drag, exhaust fairly new fresh headers when I put the engine, single chamber racing mufflers, and no cat system, no collapsed pipes.
Okay so what sparked this was its stock bottom end with flattops and it's studded with stock 062 heads with upgraded springs for the lift I was using, I upgraded the fuel injection system while I was at it and had black bear do the tune because we'll im not that experienced with it yet learning...
Yeah its all sorts of everything right now havent done a compression test on it, put it in dot to dot, yes stock 062 heads with upgraded springs all that I did to em, turn push rod back and forth and tighten rocker till their is resistance and tighten one full turn, how I was taught hasnt failed...
