Its about the same mpg as the 5.7 TBI. Also i have seen his video of the L99 he dyno tested and couldnt believe how similar in power it was with the 350.

So I debated getting another TBI 350 to put back in it but decided just go through with making the baby lt1 run. So i ordered a carbureted dual plane intake and edelbrock 600cfm 4bbl carb with a proform HEI distributor from JEGS. The truck has been my dailey driver since ive gotten it...
The ECMs are different the caprice has the 0411 style with 4 connectors red, blue, clear and black and the original from the truck connectors are red, and blue. I wanted a challenge with this truck i dont plan on sending it off i will post some pictures of my progress since ive owned it
Yes unfortunately the truck had the 4.3 V8 with its stock intake for the caprice. I found out The 5.7 TBI intake fits. Im doing away the the optispark ignition and intake and fuel injection sytem back to what would be right for the truck
My goal here is to make less a pain of that whoever before me messed up. The truck doesnt run with the intake setup and ecm that i bought with it. I have a tbi intake and tbi ecm. I dont think I will get a definitive answer on here but thank you for your informative input
