    Gorilla tape; lots and lots of Gorilla tape. Can hold on body parts, temp hold down of items so they don't slide/rattle around, rad hose repair, wire insulation, racing stripes....

    Yes, 50 series, with DDEC III AFAIK. For sale cheap....Shipping likely a killer tho' Have been trying to sell for a while. Lost my storage, and now stuck on my trailer under a tarp. Going for scrap at end of month since no one local to me seems interested.

    Detroit Diesel Anyone? Perfect for your diesel upgrade; only 250hp, but 900ft/lbs TQ Bit too far forward, but that's the only place the forklift could set it down Lucky I have the k2500HD suspension.

    Intermittent clutch / shifting issue

    Saw a video on YT where a mechanic pointed out that inexperienced mechanics often install the shift fork wrong here: Easy to mistake the alignment of fork & throw-out. I have the same problem with my 'burb 5 speed conversion. Works OK when cold, becomes "un-clutchable" when warm.

    Plus I see a business opportunity for any REAL engineers to design a master/slave kit with, wonder-of-wonders, a braided hose flexible enough to actually be easy, as it SHOULD have been done originally.

    Hi all Anyone know the trick to installing the dorman pre-bled master/slave kit? Cannot figure out how to either fit master up from bottom, or slave down from top. For such a large truck, clearances are a b*tch.:confused: Also tried youtube without success. Thanks in advance Ken

    I was thinking of LPG conversion myself. More popular in Canada than the US. Can get second hand setup for 5.7l for about $500CDN, and LPG is only about 60% as expensive. Unfortunately this would be a vapour system rather than injection as is popular in Europe. cheers K
