picked up truck from shop thurs. The ******* tries to argue about how much i owe him untill he finally just takes what i brought. He gets me the key to the truck, without saying a word jumps in his truck and hauls ass. I didnt even get mine started yet! When my truck fired up, the belts were...
well surprisingly it ran great for 3 months till one day it took a dump all of a sudden. I will test ur bad engine theory with the new one in it now when I go pay him and get it back.
misunderstanding...i took it to the mechanic my dad takes his stuff to when the engine was first replaced, they put oreilly reman in it. paid them off, drove it for 3 months engine quit, took it back to them, they replaced engine with another reman and now i have to pay labor charges cause...
well, no I havent priced them, and sounds like from your situation it would be money well spent. I was talking from the average person without those shoulder injuries.

SHREKMOOSE: from what I have read they are a reputable trans for stock to mild performnce upgrades. Sas shouldnt have any effect on trans though unless u go crazy on tire size. Just my 2cents
did chevy put the same 5speed in 89 trucks as in 91 with 350? I have been wonderin what was in my truck. From a little research I had thought I narrowed it down to a NV3500 in mine. Am I wrong?
Tempted: the shop purchased the engine before asking me, my dad owned a large shop many years and he said he would have covered the labor to retain the customer. My dad and I both feel since he didnt ask me about purchasing the engine then he took responsibility for it even if warranty didnt in...
yes, well as I think I mentioned in my first post, the #1 spark plug was smashed flat! whatever it was did some damage for sure. its just BS that the shop wont stand behind their work like this.
