    tonneau covers

    im looking for a tonneau, or any build pics of one i can build myself. i would love to have a hard tonneau that sits flush with the bed rails. also it would be sweet if i could work it off of lift supports instead of having a roll up one or something of that sort. Thanks guys!

    88’ c1500 gen 1 swap wiring.

    So I’m doing a gen 1 sbc swap on my 88’ getting rid of the ecm, ac, etc. I have pretty much all bases covered. What I still am not sure of is... will my gauges still work? And also the hot wire from the ignition switch to the block on the fire wall is some reason grounding when the key is on...

    but however if youre swapping a 5.3 i dont know a whole lot but i do know that usually you can make it work with the trans with an adapter plate or something of the sort. other than that youll need swap motor mounts, and a whole ecu and harness that goes with said 5.3, unless you go standalone...

    They didnt make a 5.3 until 99' are you sure this is a 5.3 and maybe not a 5.0 from the 80's?

    so, if i have the mirrors like on my truck, the older chrome style block mirrors, (see profile pic). and i want to switch to sport mirrors or something of the sort, what kind of extra work do i have to do or fab, for them to fit correctly, anyone done this before??
