I had to clean out the back of an all you can eat garbage pile in the back of their stolen pick up truck. In July after sitting in the sun for a week before they found it. I feel the grossness.
Copper has been used on banjo bolts and oil drain plugs for years. Use the original bolts and the shiny washers should seal at least in my old man brain.
Yup he did, trying to find out which washers he bought. I really don't want to spend 40 bucks for two washers. These bonded washers are what I think he's talking about. But I don't see how they'd seal around the shank.

I found some info searching here but can't get back to it. When the motor is reinstalled I want to insure the bolts seal for the adapter. 00120393 was pointed out to be the correct washer. Having a hard time find them for sale as they've been discontinued. Anyone use copper washers instead?
Pesky bolts are out, 2 motor mount bolts left. Have to get my derrick put back together. Timing cover, t stat and water pump should be here Friday. Waiting on heads. Finally. This would have been a few day job with a dang garage.
