i have a 1996 chevy k1500 4x4 reg cab v-8. has a 6" pro comp lift and 35/12.50/15 tires on it. i wanna put the best/heavy duty front wheel hubs/bearings in. my truck does have abs. where should i be able to get these??? thanks y'all
differnce in 1996 front axle and 1999 tahoe front axle...both 4x4 and obs. is there any??? i need to know because i just picked up my procomp 6" lift and he gave me the COMPLETE! front end all attached...lol. im hoping to just take mine out and put this in without unbolting everything. then all...

i did troubleshoot the actuator tho. i took it out and left plugged in and shifted the truck into 4lo and 4hi and the actuator didnt pop out at all. i then unplugged it and checked the plug and it gets 12 volts when in 4 hi or lo and when shifted back to 2wd it doesnt get 12 volts so i know its...
is that in the front axle or transfer case? i do need a haynes manual for sure. and by the way... does the tranfer case and the front and rear diffs hold 90wt oil? if so... does it need some sort of additive?
i have a 1996 chevy z71 5.7 v-8 regular cab. has the floor shift style 4x4. when i shift it in either 4 lo or 4 hi the 4x4 doesnt work. when in 4 lo i can tell the gear ratio is low but the front wheels arent spinning. i tried it out this past weekend at the desert and it doesnt work. got stuck...
