New from Iowa

Hello from nw Iowa. New here but not new to forums and trucks. I am currently a senior in high school and attend our local community collage during the afternoon for there auto program. Just so ya know I am not biased towards a certain truck brand my name is just thatfordguy and on the powerstroke forum I'm thatchevyguy lol.

I just picked up a 98 k1500 with 85k. This is my 2nd 98 k1500. My last one was lifted and all that fun stuff. This one is bone stock but that'll change shortly. The reason I bought it was my other ride is a 97 f350 cclbpowerstroke. Having a diesel really sucks in the winter and it's impossible to park so I bought this for kind of a driver so my powerstroke can remain my toy. And keep your 7.3s are slow comments to your self, because it can break the 35s loose from a 3rd gear roll . But it's great to be here and see what else I can learn from you guys. I was on gmfullsize but they aren't a whole lot of help over there so I'm gonna get my build thread going and upto date with what I'm at now.

Thanks guys! I'm way up north by sibley ia. And the 7.3 has kinda turned into my toy now that I've got the new 98. Doesn't get driven a whole lot as I can't park anywhere lol. All I know is obs chevy and ford are my favorites.

EDIT: Just saw your build thread for the 98. You wouldn't still happen to have those window visors, would you? Haha.

one of the visors was missing when I got it and the others cracked. And I bet ya have seen me rolling around down there as that's where my gf lives
