None on the windshield?
Nope. I don't believe windshield tint is a good idea.

 I'll think about it. I've written plenty of how-to articles in the past and TBH i've given up writing them anymore. I get tired of the stupidity of questions and people not paying attention. Not saying that is what you are/would do just the general principle. I can dig up my diagram i drew up to do it in the garage one of these times.

The problem with doing write ups is you usually never hear from the people that do it with no problems. You only hear from the ones that shouldn't be doing the mod in the first place or that didn't fully read the directions an tried to rush through it an wonder why it doesn't work.

I understand your reasoning completely. One of the reasons I don't reply here to questions much anymore.

its one of those situations, such as the one where i put a NV4500 in my 88, which has very simplistic wiring and computer... and get questions like "what parts do i need to put this in a 97 silverado" or "what is the part number for this" or "do you have a wiring diagram for that". Most of the time it comes down to people being lazy, me not having the information or simply i don't feel like sharing/explaining it.

Again, not that it is the case here, but ultimately i'll get a bunch of questions.

 co-worker and my father got them from a paper mill years ago. They were rejects because they didn't get preferations.

Exactly. There are legit questions and I'll respond to those however.

Same as any other tint. Get it light enough that it doesn't impair your vision at night but just dark enough to cut down on glare. I've got 50% on mine and love it, even at night.
Eh, regular windshield doesn't bother me
