Finally! GMT800 style towing mirrors on GMT400.

Ya, the 800s and 900s don't have the exterior signal, but you would be right, you would always be able to tell that it's a cover...hm, maybe someone will come out with covers for the signal mirrors.

so ive decided since i messd one of the signals up and its all apart may aswell modify it and make lower parking light and uper signals... which color though white or orange will show best behind the lense

Orange for sure. The white will make it have that "washed out" look.

you can get them from ebay or http://www.am-autoparts.com/ but i dont know anybody that has bought the ones from the second site and said anything about them most everyone that has had bought them all came from ebay

Great info here. the mirrors on my "new to me" 93 are definitely deserving of changing, may as well go with this for the upgrade. I think I'm going for the cheapie manual no LED ones because I just don't need the extra light.
