Thought HD had the 4.11? I know my gpas 2500HD 6.0, has 4.11 UT gets 10_12 mpg.. My 2500 gets about 16 hwy and 14 on a 400 mile trip the other day

2500hd can have 3.73-4.10 and 1500hd can have 3.42-4.10.

My 1500hd w/ 33's turns 2300 at 70 iirc. I'm pretty sure it has 4.10s.

The higher gear ratios are common in fleets and city boy trucks.

Little disappointed, on 460 kms of mixed driving (little to no highway) got 18.26 l/100km or 12.88mpg. Not stellar but I'm going to see what I can do to improve that number.

94 K2500 LD, stock 305 TBI NV3500 14 sf/3.73s

EDIT: woops, forgot to figure in the fact I'm running 245s instead of the stock tiny 225s. If I did my math right I'm at 13.4 mpg.

Was that hinting at my truck is a city boy? Lol

Getting 8 mpg with 350 TBI, Auto, 3.73's, Custom CAI, Gutted Cat, Thrush Welded. Doing a Test Right Now That Since I Did My Last Test I've Seafoamed It, New Cap,Rotor,Coil And Plug Wires. Plugs Are In Good Shape And Good Gap, I Think My One o2 Is Messing With My Mileage.

Depends on if its on the intake or the exhaust. If its on the intake, it will probably make a difference, I've had a couple go bad and it always caused my engine to run rich.

Gotcha. I had the 02 replaced when it was in the shop for something else before winter so I didn't have to bother with it but the code is still there so I'm not sure what's going on with it. I'm probably going to take a better look at it myself as the weather gets warmer and see if I can find the issue with it. I'm very curious if fixing it will lead to much improved fuel economy.
