Normal tank: mixed with equal city and highway, plus light towing. Average of 15 mpg.

Highway tank: 65 mph for most of 700 miles. Average of 18.5 mpg as of this evening's fill up. That's over 750 miles of highway driving on a 42 gallon fill. Makes me wonder if a 6.0 with some light mods and a tune will get me over 800 to a tank.

Fix it! You should be getting better mileage than that though...I've still been hitting mid 14s in mixed driving with my ECLB (heavier) version of otherwise the same truck.

What size tires, and what kind of exhaust are you running? You may need to do a tune up or something.

Well in my 88 c1500 rcsb I always always got right at 20mpg regular driving I live in the country where you can drive 60-70 mph easy.on long hwy trips I averaged about 23mpg..this truck was stock 350 tbi with k & n reusable filter and single inlet duel outlet exhaust...
Now in my 97 k1500 ecsb I average 17-20mpg again I live in the country so no traffic and no low speeds.. Truck has xpipe and long tube cherry bombs. Under the truck before the axle

I think they are 265/75r16. And my exhaust is broken off in front of where the muffler was.
