And getting a crank position sensor cause it's been starting hard and the tach drops out more often than I like indicating I'll be dead on the road one of these days with no discernible clue as to when it may fire up again.

Poorly positioned wires or something more serious?Found the serpentine belt has been rubbing on the crank position sensor wires.
