I've got a '97 2dr 2wd Tahoe with a 5.7L engine. I'm not sure what transmission it has in it. I know this sounds stupid but, this is my first rodeo with a Chevy. I get all the raising of the tranny and removal of the bolts. It's the 2 bolts holding the bracket to selector switch that has me worried. I don't have much room in my garage to wiggle around underneath or around it. Would it be better just to take it to shop and let them work on it. Don't get me wrong, I work on all my vehicles until I get stuck. Just like to see if there is an easier way to remove the pan with all these headaches I'm fixing to encounter. Any past write ups would be of great help.
