What's going on fellas, new to the site, this is my first post!!
Have done some browsing a lot of info is here!! Soon as the weather breaks il begin the projects! (Live in ohio)

I have a 1996 K1500 Silverado Edition
Not bad shape runs like a dream 4x4 is flawless needs some fender work and some new rims then prob paint her up.

Hopefully I won't be killed for this one but innocent question that's been bugging me. What is a GMT400 and GMT800???

Fenders need some work I might just buy new ones once I'm ready to re-paint and the rims are corroded pretty good I might try the plasti dip out not sure tho never used it
& yea the 400 and 800 thing is bugging me now lol

Gmt400 is the 88-98 chevy and gmc fullsize, Gmt800 is 99-06 I believe it was it ran thru the cat eye series then the gmt400 came after that then I forget what the new one is

Whatever gm wanted them to mean? Not sure cause it went from 400 to 8 hundred and wouldn't have gone from 4th gen to 8th gen like that

gmt400, gmt800, gmt900, k2xx .... I prefer obs, nbs, etc...
