Swap a 95 trans into a 94?

I have a 95 suburban that I rebuilt the trans in and I am going to part the truck out. What I am wondering is if I put the computer from the 95 in my 94 pickup can I run the 95 trans? I know the 95 has the pwm and 94 doesnt, but are the wiring any different or just the computers?

If i remember correctly....the 95 transmission will not work with a 94 motor

it will bolt up, all bbc and sbc have the same bellhousing pattern

not as far as the bellhousing goes, all chevy v8s are the same up to the ls, look it up

I know it bolts up. The oddball part of it is in the electronics. thats why I want to see if I can swap the computer over to run it. Both are tbi 350s with the 4l60e.

If I remember right, 93-94's are direct swaps, 95's stand alone, and 96-98's will swap.

I wanted to pull the transmission out of my 95 and stick it in my 93....transmission shop said bellhousing was different.....and it would also require extensive modifications to the wiring harness......how much of this is true i do not know......it was more trouble then it was worth in my opinion so i just said forget it.

If I had one or could find one I wouldnt mind making the truck a manual, but I have the built trans so I'd like to run it in the pickup.
