Welcome! Very clean truck to cut up, but it should look great as a truggy.

X2 I'd do and exo cage and keep that beauty looking fine. wanna wheel it hard core then do a low lift with portals IMO

Thanks Guys, Its clean but the clear coat is peeling and its almost at 200K mikes. So it will get a rebuild to a 383 and a upgraded trans. Also plan on building a custom bed and going to turn the stock bed into a trailer for those extended camping trips and home depot runs. So both will get painted then. Not sure I will do exo cage but will definitely build some sliders and armor along with the cage.

Im Back and with a different truck. I guess you can say S@$# happens and things change. I ended up selling the white K1500 I was going to turn into a truggy and got into racing Rzr's. Had fun racing the king of the hammers this past February and look forward to more races to come.

But I realized I missed having a full size. So I picked up this 98 Tahoe. My plans will be a little less radical this time around. But it will be my trail and tow rig.

Plan is rebuild engine. Swap to 241 tcase. Add one ton axles and do leaf spring sas. Then accessories to make life on the trail easier.

I sold my jeep for my Blazer... once it got the death wobble I was officially fed up.
what I do miss though was the power to weight ratio, and the maneuverability. the jeep just felt nimble... the chevy is a freakin panzer LOL

but having a full-sized blazer with a manual transmission is sweet. so much torque. things a beast and rides like a caddy X)
