This pic gave me an idea........it would require a higher temp LED with directional LEDs, but I wonder about mounting one that will strobe red and orange back and forth, mounted about a foot up the exhaust tip!!!

.....or maybe one that will light up via a switch when the trans shifts.....so at night it looks like an exhaust pop when it shifts.
