Ordered a PMD (Pump Mounted Driver) relocation kit for the truck yesterday. At the rate im going payment wise i should have the truck mostly paid off by June. So after that point i will prob be getting my tool box installed with a new wooden bedliner and a military style jerry can.

that bedliners gonna look cool

Thanks man. It is getting done by a local truck accessory place here in town and will be constructed from 3/4" fur plywood. I might see about adding one of their side boxes between the right wheel well and the tail gate as well for extra storage. I plan on mounting a Marine battery box inside my plastic tool box up front for mounting a third dedicated winch battery so the extra space i can gain from adding that extra box will help. Ultimately i will prob add a fiberglass canopy to it as well.

This is a rough sketch of the bumper design I want to go to to replace my original diesel bumper and add a winch. I may wind up getting it and the original rear bumper coated in bed liner or replace the rear bumper with a similar design rear or a W/T bumper.

Need some opinions here, I am moving away from the idea of a custom winch bumper mostly due to the fact it would require a ton of messing around to maintain the proper amount of cooling, So now the plan is to run a reciever hitch up front with a cradle mount for the winch so I can use the winch on either end of the truck. I am seriously considering the idea of running a smoothie Diesel bumper with a pro comp pro runner light bar and possibly a sport valance with factory fog lights. What I mostly need opinion on is the tires and wheels im looking at.

Here is what my truck would look similar to minus the lift with the pro runner bar

I cant see why I cant run factory gmc center caps on those wheels with the proper nuts with the outer threads for the covers. The tire size I would be running is 265/75R16

This is the other tire im looking at I might go with these on the black rims and go with the first tires shown on my current stock rims, If I go with these I may go up to a 285/75R16 and use these for summer with the stock wheels and the other tires studded for winter use.

What ya getting?????

New Pump mounted driver/fuel Solenoid Driver (same part just diff names depending on how its installed in the truck)
and a Relocation kit containing the following:
Relocation Harness
and Heat sink with hardware for mounting it behind the bumper near the opening in the front bumper

When its mounted behind the bumper or anywhere else other then on the pump as GM put it originally it is called an FSD or Fuel Solenoid Driver. It controls the Drive By wire throttle system in the Diesels.

Mostly focusing on getting the truck running reliably before i start attacking it with mods. Though hopefully later this summer it may make a trip to Westers Garage (the same place where Dale_Gribble gets his tunes for his truck from) and get tuned on the Dyno there.
