Geese, now I do feel like a dinosaur. After seeing the tore up rotors caused by full metallic pads I always used and recommended semi metallics. Never even looked or cared about a friction code. How does the friction code relate to rotor wear?

I'm not sure what the N21/N22 is all about, but the pic I posted was of part number EHT459H.

Edit: just walked out to the 1500 and snapped this.

Looks like HH and N23. These are EHT369H.

Also mine say Made in India, not Hecho en Mexico.

Maybe that's the difference. It's like Mexican Coke, vs US Coke.

H = hybrid, and even though M says metallic I'm pretty sure they're semi-metallic. The year thing makes total sense.

Well, yeah, I just posted what it says on their site. I never assumed they were solid steel pads. Lol
I also bought the Element3 brake shoes, however, they are only FF friction code. I’ve never seen any brand with a higher shoe code.

I can see how during the plandemic they used whatever pad material they had available. HH seems kinda overkill that wouldn't last long and eat up discs. Are they really grabby?
