I used fishing line, razor blade and an eraser wheel to demold mine. I also knew that I was painting it so I wouldnt use a razor blade on yours unless very careful.

I heard a heat gun helps is that true?

Nice truck! I hace a c2500 crew cab that i demoulded. It took my wife and i 6 or so hours. The mouldings came off easy, the glue on the other hand was a job! 3 things i found work good, Aircraft brand adhesive an decal remover, rubbing alcohol on a rag, and/or a heat gun. We sprayed the remover on first an got the biggest part off, soaked it with rubbing alcohol and rubbed the rest off. The compounded it with a buffer to make the paint match. I hand blisters all over my finger tips!
