is there some how to's on this? I plan on reverting to the stock radio on mine. I got my truck from dad, he put a deck between the vents and tossed the old radio. The aftermarket radio doesnt have an aux in and the cd is stuck. I was planning on finding a working stock radio and adding an aux-input

For the bluetooth dongle, this is the one I've used in other applications. Pairs quickly, no annoying chimes/tones as it does so (I've read about others that have a really loud alert when they pair), no issues with it whatsoever. And cheap. https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Bo...19&sr=8-1&keywords=millennia+bluetooth+dongle

Looking at the reviews I can see some people have had trouble with it but I guess that's just par for the course with simple chinese electronics stuff. Mine has been working great.

Would seem to me that this would be a lot less work, and it would fit in the stock location....

That's interesting... Never seen this one before.

X2 on the Millennia BT dongle. I've got one in each truck, good stuff. They've got a little bit of loss on the low frequency range but I have yet to encounter a BT adapter that doesn't.

Memory could be fuzzy but I think it was your post where I got the suggestion to pick that brand!

Neat idea, but... That would involve me reaching down further to change the station and the volume. :p I am lazy lol. That's the beauty of the 95+ dashes, you can rest your hand on the shifter and switch channels and turn the volume up or down and not have to reach far. :D

There are lots of options that would be less work. I could have bought the stereo that looks exactly like the factory one and just stuck it in. This cost me less than $50 in all. The one you linked, while nice, would be a starting point of $400 before shipping. With this my goal was for it to have the option of not being seen, leaving the interior stock appearing and on a starving artist's budget.

Yeah I could see that being a problem. I don't have that problem, I just use the remote lol
