Because its brand new and $200 for the cam and springs.
Also its my daily driver and I travel 80 miles round trip everyday.
Ill get a custom grind cam when I set up for turbos.
Was going to just install stock mototr but found this one today so its going in

Are you sure thats an LS cam?

That part number comes back as a SBC cam.

Ok so now
Who has done the 0411 pcm swap and added the wires to the original harness for the LS swap?
I have the pin outs and instructions from Lextech but I am more of a visual person. Lol
I can't go out there and mess with the harness because the truck is my daily. Want to wrap my head around it before I do it.
I did buy an LS harness to rob the wires
Do I just take the coil plugs and wiring and I fall the pins into my pcm?

Update
Installed cam and springs

Received the Lextech bracket on Saturday
Mocked it up. Everything looks good and fits well. Now just to get the tensioner.

Also figure out the fuel set up. I never knew that these connections were there. These are right at the back of the intake and bolts down to the intake. Will be unscrewing the metal tubing and adding the below fittings.

FRA-491970-BL -6an 14mmx1.5 o-ring
FRA-491971-BL -6an 16mmx1.5 o-ring
These are female to male -6 for both
With push lock hose.
Will be about 6" hoses when done for both

Who has done the Lextech AC bracket and used the stock alternator?
I want to say they have the same bolt pattern??

Got home and took off the alternator to test fit
I had to grind down the bracket just a little. But fits perfect
Then found out I have EV6 injectors and EV1 pigtails. Found the EV6 pigtails and ordered them. $15 shipped on eBay. Hell of a deal!!

Since I'm just adding the ten wires to my harness the connector doesn't change for me.
