My $500 97 Silverado 4x4

I bought this truck last year on my 16th birthday for 500 bucks. I knew nothing about it, just that it had been sitting for years and it was leaking out of everything that could leak. It has the vortec 5.7 and the 4L60E. its all stock except for dual cherry bombs, piaa lights on the front bumper and a little torsion crank. right now it has 211,500 miles on it and I drive it daily. My plans are 2 inch blocks, 3 inch BL and 35's but between insurance and gas making minimum wadge I don't know when all that will happen.

Forgot to mention removing the valence and removing all the chrome trim.

Looks really good for 500 bucks. But if I were you, I'd save for a ls swap. You'd get more power and reliability, because you already have a sweet looking truck.

Its been a fun project. When I had it there was a hole in the rear diff cover, all the transfer case seals were bad, there was a hole in the gas tank, blown head gasket leaking antifreeze, starter went bad, bad pitman and idler arms, Now it doesn't leak anything and runs like a new truck. My dad and I did all the work ourselves except the machine work.
