im converting my m5 to a 700r4. im looking for what goes from the shift part of the colum to the trans. any one have pics?

what would need to be done for the lock up switch to work. anybody have some info please share

For the lockup you basically just have to run power to it. If its an older 700, you dont need a ground, but the newer ones (after '86 i think?) used an external ground wire. Just look at the plug near the linkage and youll see either two or three wires. You can find wiring diagrams all over the web. As far as your other question, you need to come up with some sort of linkage.

Edit: and a switch to trigger the lockup, along with the power and ground.

You can buy a vacuum controlled switch for that. It will only alow lockup when a certain amount of vacuum is reached.
