How long does the average set of 35's last?

Sick of buying used tires. Was going to drop a grand into 4 brand new 315/75r16's, was wondering the average life span of 35's?

I just bought my 315/75r16 Toyo Open Country MTs for $1,140 off of treaddepot.com they are really quiet and ride awesome! Ppl claim to get 60k out of them!

Depends on a lot of variables. What brand? How aggressive? Will you be RELIGIOUS about air pressure and rotation? For instance, I wouldn't expect the 35" Dunlop M/Ts on my 92 to last over 25k (8-9 years in my case ha). However, I plan on my 35" Toyo A/T's on my SD to last 50-60k.

While i was getting my tires mounted, the guy sitting next to me said that i made a good choice going for the cooper s/t's, because thats what he just had and got 60k out of em. Im expecting 45-50.

Taking turns slow and not turning tight is what I tell myself keeps the tires happy.
