So much wrong with this statement.
Don't need to replace the keys for 2".
Long shock will help it ride better.
CV angles will be worse and hard wheeling could be a problem.

Exactly what i was thinking, 2" out of cranking and block is way worse on the front end than a full suspension lift, you are more likely to snap cv's, sway bar end links, not to mention your putting added stress on the pitman and idler arm and cause them to wear out ridiculously fast

Im gonna go against everybody else, if you are only wanting to run 31s stick em on and call it good, they will fit at stock height

the reason why im goin with the rough country is because we did keys and blocks on my buddies 88 it killed his front end in no time

you must have REALLY cranked it then....

i have 31s on my truck and in rough terrain with full suspension travel... they would rub... i turned up the front end with different keys for the bar index and i had to trim off a good 2" of the bumper ends. now they don't rub at all =)

but the CV axel angle is just fine  what really helped the front end though was tightening the steering box screw. but the "lift" (if you could even call it that) hasn't hurt anything...

Thats my thought, the tires i had on the yukon measured out to 31.5" and i fit those with no crank and on the 96 i had 35s with 3" bl and at one point had decranked it lower than stock with no rubbing
