depends on the type of material, the good ones seem to last, cheap plastic will eventualy warp/crack with heat cycles causing a vac leak. id go aluminum and be done with it.
No vacuum runs through that...

Plastic ones are just fine, i ran one for years.

Throttle body spacers on Vortecs are useless.

I have the ebay plastic Injector spacer, didn't really notice a difference. But have had no problems with it.

He is TBI, plastic wiring cover on firewall is dead give away, 88-94.

Haha yes to clarify it is a 1994 TBI 350 I don't have the ultimate TBI mods done yet just the spacers both power aid and injector. The poweraid spacer made my intake louder. I think the off the line response got a little better but that was about it.
