I am definitely going to get to that when the weather clears up, it's been raining for almost 48 hours straight now. lol. They look good, my dad was even skeptical at first, but loves them on the truck.

Got the mirrors installed and I love everything about them! They look great, and visibility is amazing, the instructions that it came with helped..but the support bracket had to be modified a little to work for the 97, the support bracket instructions could have been clearer, but at least it had instructions. Got the turn signals wired, and want to get the running lights wired as well. What kind of diode do I need to do this? It is easy to do, but need to know what kind of diode to get.
How did you have to modify the bracket? I had no problems installing it on my 88 or my 99, aside from it being a very tight fit. Here is they style dioide I typically buy. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2036268

He did on the last page, and I believe I did early on in the thread.

For whatever reason the bracket needed about 1/8 inch more clearance for the nut to screw onto the long bolt you have to put onto the mirror. For it to go on the right way it needed that 1/8 inch so I just took a hammer and made a little dimple in it to make up for that room.

Thanks for telling me the diode for this.

Mike, here are links to the ones with LED signals and without. I never found the heated ones, so you may have to look for them if you want those.

I just looked, I can't find the heated mirrors anymore either.

A member of another forum bought a set to add to a 94, and was having troubles wiring them up as the wiring colors aren't factory and the heated plugs don't fit a truck without heated mirrors. He made a fuss with the seller, perhaps they stopped selling them because of this?
