So after sitting in my garage for the better part of a year I put my eBay shorty headers on. Bolted up to the engine great however they are about 2 inches narrow of fitting to the y-pipe.

Anyone else have this problem? Is there a different set for a 4x4? Right now I'm down to 2 options, cut the y-pipe to fit or get a set of LTs.

What seller did you buy them from on Ebay? 2 inches is quite a bit.

I agree however that pie cutting the y would be your best solution.

I ended up cutting the 2" off the Y-pipe. I'll have to dig it up to find out who the seller was, In the huge mess of garage and email. Need a few parts and I'm going to take it to the shop to weld it up. That is if the damn thing doesn't leak.

Want to get his done I have a 6" RCX lift that I want to install before it gets too cold.

I could be wrong, but I'm think you'll be redoing the y pipe again, after you install your lift.

Sent from the big block!
