theres no cheap. cheap implies poor planning and skipped steps to equal a very poor solid axle, theres cost effective, instead fo spending 500 on premade brackets, get your from ruffstuff for 1/4 of the price and weld it on. bracket wise weve had bout a hundred bucks in brackets and what not for leafs/heims etc before. when i did my coil spring front SAS i only had all of 500 into springs, shocks, brackets, tubing and heims. nothing drastic but worked great and was setp up properly.

by doing most of the work yourself and making your own stuff you greatly reduce cost.

it will never be cheap but to make it as cheap as possible take your time and collect the parts. Scour the internet for good deals on sites like Pirate and locally.
