Can I use this?

I have a 1996 K2500 chevy long bed 8 lug.

I got a performance accessories body lift for cheap but its for 88-94 will it work?
Both kits look alike and have same parts.

Only reason i even want to try or know is i bought the body lift, Weston or westin running boards , and new mirrors for 90 bucks.
trying to save money since i am 17.

as long as the kits look the same, I don't see why there would be a problem

I would check out the Performance Accessories website and see if they sell them separately

There is no tcase extension, the steering shaft extensions are the same, the pre 94 kit will come with a little rod to weld in place for the trans linkage where as the 95 and newer were cable operated.

Ok thanks for the info. Does anyone have or know were i can find the install instructions for either year of body lift?

When I searched for 88-94, it come up as 88-98 only. Any chance the kit you have is just an older kit? Either way, I hope the link helps you out.
