Id say since they are aftermarket you will probably have to splice in to the wire at the headlight switch

Parking light wire on my truck was the brown one on the headlight switch. I think if you use orange thats the interior lights and the cab lights will dim with the gauge/dash lighting.

Nah, but I have about 10000 dents in the roof anyway. I was more worried about getting one out of place....
