Sounds like a good plan but with lift, rims, tires, 6.0, and a paint job its gonna run over 13000 easily?

"Sounds like a good plan but with lift, rims, tires, 6.0, and a paint job its gonna run over 13000 easily?" Yeah you would think, but I live in a VERY small comunity so I get discounts on things just because im local, hell the paint shop here is taking off a $1000.00 dollors for the paint and body work each just because im friends with the owners daughter. The Ls 6.0L motor came out of one of my dads friends escalade that got T-boned so He gave me the motor for free, and I work for a local mechanic who is helping me build the trany for free, all i have to do is provide the parts and we work on it when theres no vehicles on the lift. So im pretty lucky to have all these conections :)

:banghead:I know this isnt an GMT 400 but this is, or was my other baby untill recently..... I traded it in for that 2011 vw gti that I sold to get the money to fix old KI//ER. What was worse is the fact that i left my 17inch REV 50 Cal rims with a new set of cooper stt 265's with a torsion bar key leveling kit (all from which i had taken from my truck KI//ER.... yes I named my truck like a dog but il tell that story later) on my 04 sierra when I traded it in :doh2: but heres a few pics of my old baby :bawl:

if you are patient you can find deals that could easily cut that budget in half. I had less than $1000 into my whole SAS on my ccsb. I have absolutely $0 into my nbs and have put leveling keys and 315 bfg a/t's on it. Craigslist is your friend on stuff like this and it is always good to have friends like the op does.

That does make sense but i rarley can find anything on my local craigs list since i live in wyoming, and the closest place to find parts for cheap like that is craigslist colorado, and most of that stuff is in Denver. :(
