96 Diesel Won't Start

Is there a way to test it other than buying a new one?

Clip a wire directly to the main terminal of the starter and check the voltage while cranking. Do the same thing with the solenoid wire. They should be within .5 volts of the batteries. If not, replace the battery cables.

It's a 6.5TD. It's not supposed to start. That's been my experience with them, anyway...

I know; not helpful. But it's all I got.

I'm gonna try a bypass on the glow plugs I was going to install one anyways. I was just mad because I stripped the tensioner pulley bolt trying to put the alternator back in

Bypass didn't work I've tested all my grounds and they all work with the test light any other suggestions
