2wd axle?

so i recently blew up the rear end in my truck and i am lookin for an axle from a junkyard is there a difference between a 2wd axle housing and a 4wd?

yes, one is longer than the other, search the different axles and you will see the length difference.

nope, 4wd axles are wider than the 2wd versions. Spring perches and shock mounting locations are different.

As in you can't swap a 2wd axle for a 4wd axle.
