Gah i need to do this...on a scale of 1 to 10 how hard of an install was it?

Maybe a 2. It's a cake job.

The gauge surround panel just pulls out to come off (make sure your wheel is tilted all the way down).
Unplug the headlight switches and set the surround aside.
There are 4 screws (7mm, I believe) holding the cluster in. Once those are gone, the cluster just pulls out.
Turn the cluster over and there are 6 main illumination bulbs in the larger twist-locks in the center. Pull 'em out, swap the bulbs and reverse the process.

The LEDs are polarity sensitive, so before you put everything back together, plug in your headlight switches and turn them on to make sure all the LEDs are lighting up. If not, just figure out which one it is and turn it around.
