1998 Tahoe 10 to 14 bolt swap question

i recently blew the spider gears in my 10 bolt and want to upgrade to a 14 bolt what truck would i want to pull the 14 bolt out of i have 4x4 and 373s junk yards in NY suck and are not very helpful if you don't give a application

Make sure it's a 4x4 because the two wheel drive axles are more narrow. Mine came from a 99 2500 4x4 and it had 3.73s. It's just the luck of the draw with the gears

Not really most are 3.73s. Just tell them you need one out of a 88-98 6 lug 2500.

i called all the local yards and ended up settling for a 96 2500 suburban with 4.10s got it for $400

Most yards won't have any clue what an f44 package is.
