I bought a 89 truck with a rear 14 bolt sf 3.73 gear recently installed but I want to know what I need to do to have the same ratio infront so the 4x4 could work

Welcome from Alberta Canada.
You will probably get better answers in the axle + brake forum.
But my quick one would be to swap the gears in the front axle to match the rear.

Either find a front axle with 3.73s or rebuild one and swap in some 3.73s. I say rebuild because you're going to have to take all the measurements to set up the new gears, so you might as well replace the bearings and seals while you're at it. It's also a good time to install a limited slip or locker.
