So I've been pretty quiet on here but finally getting around to posting something worth while. A month or so ago I picked up a 1996 K1500 crew cab short box with a blown motor. Already had a donor rig, my 1996 suburban which I had unfortunately ran into a ditch about a month prior to purchasing the pickup. Already had put in a new L31 long block from Summit and rebuilt 4l60E from an outfit back home. So I figured that should be a fairly solid foundation to drop into the new pickup. Got around to tearing into both rigs over a 3 day weekend and drove out that Sunday with what I hope will keep me satisfied until I step up and throw a 6.0 vortec into the mix.

Nothing too wild but up until now the only things I've added are:
-Updated fuel spider
-K&N air filter
-Thicker option radiator
-Summit aluminum distributor
-3" exhaust through a Magnaflow cat and Thrush muffler coming from a TBI y-pipe
-Rebuilt trans came with the deeper steel pan with drain plug
-Tow mirrors from 1A Auto
-Tint 35% up front, 5% in the rear

I'm planning on adding, slowly but surely:
-0411 PCM
-14 bolt SF
-Small lift
-5.3 or 6.0 Vortec on down the road
