1991 needle cluster with tack

Is there a way to find out whether a 1991 needle cluster with tack is for a V-8 or V-6 ?

I think the rpm gauge reads higher for v8

I think it was Shurkey that recently posted that the difference is a resistor on the circuit board,maybe we'll hear from him about it.

Is there any place to look to find out the difference between a V6 cluster and a V-8 cluster With needle gauges and tack for a 1991
as I have not been able to find out any information About a different resistor on the circuitboard.
also, can any pieces from a 92 to 94 be compatible with the 1991 cluster?

It was me, lol, (quoting an olllllllld post from Chevytech) and it's a minute difference in a capacitor value - at least it is on the 1992-1994 clusters, and I suggested it's possibly a similar circuit on the 1991 needle cluster although the board design is entirely different.

Is there a glued-on paper tag on the back saying "V8" or "V6"? Thats what was shown on the Youtube video I saw a few days ago.

No, there was nothing on the back of it. No tags at all.

I did find that tag but did not say V8 or V6
here is a picture, and one after taking the back off, you can see a tiny white tag on the lower right corner with something scribbled on it.
not sure if the inside picture of the circuitboard will reveal any info,I can completely Remove it if that’ll help.

That's the broadcast code. The GM part number is the small numbers.
