10 bolt to 14 bolt FF swap

so if i dont have the money to re gear can i put the 1 ton leaf spring assemblys on my 1/2 ton and have them sitting on the 10 bolt?

Sure, or you could just not re-gear it and leave it in 2wd?

if you dont flip the ubolts and go the old style of mounting then you will need the correct ubolt cradle to go under the axle for the 14b, the sf uses the same one.

I have a pair of 14bsf plates I'll throw in a flat rate box for the cost of shipping if needed. I flipped mine.

Nope... swapping to the 2500 (8 lug) IFS running gear in a 1500 is more work than it is worth. If I understand correctly, you basically need everything off the front end of the 2500 (axle control arms, half shafts, knuckles, etc etc) in order to make it work.

the frame brackets are different, you would need to weld all the hd 3/4 - 1 ton brackets onto the 1/2 ton frame in the exact right place which is where the problem lies, be easier to just swap a whole frame
