1/2 ton truck with 3/4 ton suspension

My question is if i get a 3/4 ton rear axle and a front diff . Do i have to upgrade my control arms and axle shafts? If not whoch lift kit would i order then? The half ton or 3/4 ton. Is the control arms the same as eell?

The front is very difficult since the brackets from the 3/4 ton use different mounts and mount points than the 1/2 ton. You are better off just buying a 3/4 ton...

Get the 6-lug 14-bolt SF axle that comes in 1/2 tons. That axle is plenty sturdy.

what DGA1 states applies to the 8 lug 8600 gvw 3/4 ton, the 7200 gvw 3/4 ton is 6 lug and uses the same 8.25 ifs parts as the 1/2 ton.
the only 1/2 ton that can use the 9.25 ifs parts from a 8600gvw 3/4 ton pickup is the 1500 suburban with a 6.5, those were built with the 8 lug parts
