Ok thanks for the advice guys. Oh and I showed my wife a clue of pics of your truck 96k1500 and she loves the way it looks. I think I'm gonna go with some 285/75/16 tires and some blocks in the back. Thanks again everyone.

Mine is currently cranked lower than stock and rearend is factory, prob crank it back up one of these days and get blocks for the rear, may happen next month, also gonna get body lift, then ill need bigger tires

How it sits currently

I cranked the front end up approx. 1 1/2" still have threads left on the T bar bolts and added a 2" add a leaf which actually gained me 1 3/4' in the rear. The whole job only took a couple of hrs and between the larger 285-70-17 tires AAL and crank I gained the height I wanted, all for around 80.00.

Danny, I really like the looks of these rims and couldn't beat the price either. I ordered mine from Discount Tire Direct, had him here in 2 days for 395.00 shipped with caps and lugs. Pretty good deal I thought.

Depends on if your t-bars sag, 305s arent much taller than 285s so you should be able to but may take a bit more than 1"

Depends on the backspacing and offset of your rims. If you have stock rims 305/70r16 will be fine if you have wider or rims with more backspacing then they may run the bumper or the back of the front fender

Here's an old pic of my truck with crank block and 305/70r16s on 16x8 Mickey Thompson classic locks. 4" backspacing

This was mine with 305/70 R16s with a Rough Country AAL, cranked bars, and a heavy front bumper. Also 16x8 wheels

not stock rims
I believe they would be more like the early 80s rims, offsetwise, kinda like the wagon wheels I have on now, 16x8
but I think I saw, general grabbers for like 215 in 285s, or falken wilkpeaks for just under 200 in 305s, so that's why I was debating the bigger tire, don't really want to spend more then that on tires
