    Thanks for all the replies. I am definitely a novice to rebuilding an engine so what would I have to do to get around 300 horse with no budget? Forget the mileage part, I would rather have more power. As far as pulling the engine and stuff I'm going to do that myself.

    My engine decided to die so now I would like to do a mild 350 tbi rebuild. Im looking for some where around 300 horse maybe 350ftp of torque. I'm looking to get around 20mpg on the highway. My budget is around 2,000 so any advice or help would be great. Im thinking I want vortec heads for sure...

    Thanks Ill have to try and get a better video as soon as I get a chance. It probably isnt the stock cat I really dont know I was looking at it the other day and it looks way to big to be a high flow I really just need to have it cut off and replaced.

    Yep still stock cat as far as I know I didn't have enough money to get it switched out to who knows how long its been on there. I definitely plan on putting on a highflow when I have some extra money.

    From the cat to the muffler which is a flow master super 10 it is 3inch single in and dual 2.5 out to 3inch tips at 45s. Sound on WOT?

    My passenger seat does the same thing. I guess I have never really looked to see what makes it shake. I know the mounting bolts are tight though.

    I sort of have this same problem, both of my blinkers work with the lights off but when i turn on my lights the right blinker works and the left blinker flashes rapidly but all of the bulbs work.     Thanks for your help I checked the egr and it wasn't holding vacuum so I went ahead and replaced it and it seems to have fixed the problem.

    Ok so i got the egr off how do i know if its no good anymore it seems like the valve goes up and down alright im going to at least replace the gasket because it disengrated when i pulled it off.

    It only happens if i accelerate from a stop but if i get on it a little from a stop the engine cuts out or stutters a little and than fires up again and i keep on driving its really weird.
