Danny, I really like the looks of these rims and couldn't beat the price either. I ordered mine from Discount Tire Direct, had him here in 2 days for 395.00 shipped with caps and lugs. Pretty good deal I thought.
I cranked the front end up approx. 1 1/2" still have threads left on the T bar bolts and added a 2" add a leaf which actually gained me 1 3/4' in the rear. The whole job only took a couple of hrs and between the larger 285-70-17 tires AAL and crank I gained the height I wanted, all for around 80.00.
I've got the same problem with my 98, have a few leaks and need to replace the pan gasket. I was gonna tackle this job last month and keep putting it off. I have also been told another option is to jack the engine up just a little bit and you can get the pan out. I really need to just bit the...
I trimmed the valance very little prior to cranking the torsion bars. I used a cut off wheel on my hand grinder, went from nothing on top down to 1" on the bottom. I decided I wanted the front end to set a little higher after doing that so I cranked the bars some. I still have 3/8-1/2" of...
I'm running 33's, spent about 80 bucks on 2" rear AAL's and cranked my TB's a little. I love the stance and no rubbing issues, it's not only a cheap mod but an easy install.
I've had a few oil drips since I bought the truck and it's looking like "hopefully" the pan gasket is leaking, anyone prefer a certain kind/brand? I will probably also replace the gasket in the oil filter adapter while I'm at it. The truck's got 188000 well cared for miles on it so I'm hoping...
I'm going to remove my non-working CD player from the dash and looking for the storage bin to replace it with. I was originally going to install a CB in that slot but decided not to.
I'd been on the hunt for a factory stereo with a built CD player since I bought the truck last month and discovered the factory CD player wasn't working. I saw one of Chris's posts on here where he'd went another route and removed a stereo just like I was looking for. I contacted Chris and the...
I saw that green truck while searching auto trader looks very nice! I found two black ones I really like, one with 72000 miles and one with 50000 miles both with 350's and in very nice shape but damn their a ways off.
Nice looking truck the mirrors look great. I wish I had waited and bought a crew cab I need some more room, located a couple but a little farther away then I really want to go.
