I've had a few oil drips since I bought the truck and it's looking like "hopefully" the pan gasket is leaking, anyone prefer a certain kind/brand? I will probably also replace the gasket in the oil filter adapter while I'm at it. The truck's got 188000 well cared for miles on it so I'm hoping it's not the rear main seal.

Felpro OS34500R. One piece molded rubber with steel washers built in to prevent overtorque and pan rail deformation. Have fun!

How hard is pulling the oil pan on a 4WD?

Is jacking up the engine necessary, or can it clear everything without all that trouble?
