Not sure if you are set on a mud terrain, but I ended up getting a set of the Falken Wildpeak A/Ts for my DD last year. They hook up better than my BFG A/Ts did and good on and offroad manners. Oh and they were cheaper than any other tire at the time.

Personally I'll suggest the Kelly Safari TSR. I run the 285/75/16's & am very impressed with them from a wear stand point & traction. When I first got them I went down below a local dam & you have to get through a good bit of sand before you can get to the mud. Truck drove through it with ease, handled the mud great & made it back out without even getting close to stuck. Road noise is extremely low with these too, I have a co-worker with 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers & the Kelly's are much quieter than his. I went with the 10-ply version cause I wanted a tuff tire but the ride isnt too bad.

Also best thing about these tires are they arent just a snow or mud tire. they are rated for everything & can be studded if need be. Hopefully we get some snow this year so I can test them out some more.

I'm throwing my suggestion of the Yokohama Geolander AT-S. it's a great tire, looks good and performs well in any condition.

I had mtzs on my previous truck and put 30k on them and they still had another 30-40 left!

Really good aggressive looking tire too. I think km2s belong on jeeps and small trucks, the tread style just is out of touch on our bigger full sizes.

i love my toyo's. Great in anything i drive through. Only time one started to gum up i played with the throttle and cleared itself out substantially.

i have the Km2's on my truck in the 33/12.50/15 flavor and love them. i have had them on 3 vehicles now and they fit my needs perfectly. and they are cheap compared to nittos, dick cepeks, mickeythompsons and the like around here.
